“NIGERIA OPENS UP” CAMPAIGN

This two-leg event put together by the Alliance for Agriculture Corporation™ seeks to expose Nigeria to a qualitative global audience with a view to stimulating direct foreign investments in food security and agriculture as part of this administration’s seven point agenda. The first part of the campaign will be Nigerian entities exhibiting to 1,600 companies and over 100,000 visitors from 67 countries worldwide at the largest agriculture trade show on earth, the 2008 World Ag Expo. The expo will hold in Tulare, California USA from February 12th – 14th, 2008.

The following Nigerian entities are slated to exhibit their agricultural, solid minerals, agro allied & biofuel potentials to 1,600 companies and over 100,000 national and international attendees from 67 countries in Tulare, California include:

The Alliance for Agriculture Corporation has been designated the “Official Alternative Energy Partner” of the 2008 World Ag Expo to promote NNPC’s Automotive Biofuels Programme that seeks Joint Venture investments in ethanol and biodiesel from renewable sources like sugarcane, cassava & palm oil. A reception is being arranged for the visiting VIPs and the Office of the California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

February 11th 2008:  Pre-event VIP reception
February 12th 2008: World Ag Expo Opening event (9:00AM)
Tour of the expo grounds & visit to the Nigerian booth (10:30AM)
February 13th 2008:  Reception Dinner in Honor of Nigerian VIPs
February 14th 2008: Nigerian VIPs visit the California Memorial, Fresno California (10:00AM)
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Dimeji Bankole addresses 1,600 companies and international visitors at the Heritage Complex.
